OneGun
I need better 120mm fans to exhaust air out the top of my case and to intake in the front of my case.I have Dust filters on the top and front..So the top needs to be able to push the hot air out through a dust filter and the front needs to pull in fresh air through a dust filter..I already have some SP120s Hi Per for my 120mm rad in push pull..So for the job i need done should i get SPs or AFs? HOODedAssault
First off. Take the fan filter off you exhaust. Completely pointless all it does is restrict airflow. Who wants to keep dust from getting out of their case . I'd go AF for case fans. Sp are for rads IMO AF will move a lot of air and they're not having to push through anything. Af120 move about the same cfm that sp120 performance do at a much lower rpm and noise level. AF is what you want for a case fan.

Noise does not bother me as i can just turn the fans down..But dust bothers me.I have a full tower case and if i remove the top filter then dust will just fall inside when comp is off.I am looking for the best fans to push air through the filters..My Cooler master stock 200mm fan can barely push air through the filter so i need something better.. HOODedAssault
the noise that sp120 performance put out at max speed will bother you trust me. get af fans. a fan filter is not much to have to push threw compared to a radiator. they put same cfm as sp120 2350 rpm at 1650 rpm. u think dust will fall in when its off but all the dust the fans pull threw your case and push into the filter at the top will fall off the filter n back into your case when its off as well (especially if your in a very dusty environment)... better to take the filter off and put something over your comp when its off... I used to use a towel cuz my cat liked sitting on the top of my case.
