Slink33
Hi I bought the HX 650 v2 PSU a couple of months ago now, and it had been working fine, it still is but seems to have developed the famous chirping fan noise, usually when the fan is winding down. Now I'm curious, the noise doesn't actually bother me, its very intermittent at the moment, what would bother me obviously is if the fan is wearing and will eventually fail and overheat the PSU. I would be happy to live with the noise as I could do without the downtime and hassle of RMA, but I'm concerned that it could end up causing damage. Anyone here had one thats failed after developing the noise? I had hoped/assumed that if the PSU had the issue it was from the start. Thanks for reading . Thanks for the help :)
