H60 problem

My brand new H60 2013 edition is emitting a wide range of annoying sounds from the pump.

After some research, I believe it may be because the pump is running too fast? hwmonitor shows it in the ranges of 4591 to 4687 rpm. I've read that this may be due to too much delivery on the 12v rail or something :sigh!:, either from the mobo or power supply. I don't know much about PSU's or motherboards:sigh!: I'm not sure how I would go around to checking this. The pump is plugged into the PWR_FAN header on my GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo, and plugging it into a molex connector direct from my PSU (AX650) did not work either. :(:

I have same problem with my h110, have you tried connecting it to a fan controller?

Some people say it fixes it but i,ve tried on my own and it makes the same noise at any rpm. To be totally honest it should work out of the box with no problems as this issue is old now and they should of fixed it.

I don't have a fan controller, but I do have Define R4 with a built in 3 setting one.

But I tried and no difference :(:

i think i read on here that these coolers run at this rpm.

have you isolated the fans to insure it isnt a fan problem?

Yes, I've unplugged every noise making component from my pc and test it. It is definitely the pump.

Tried taking the rad out to shake it, to get rid of air bubbles, no help. Any other ideas. :o:

Hello Zaferk, sounds like this unit will need to be replaced. Please submit a RMA and we will get this taken care of.
