Some Q About Wireless Plus Functionality

Hi all

 

I'm in the market for a wireless hard drive for my mum in law to watch movies etc

 

I have narrowed it down and have done research but still have some questions

 

1. Can you backup to the corsair the iPad as you can with the seagate wireless plus?

 

2. Can you access cell data (iPad SIM card) and the hard drive simultaneously without having to turn off wifi etc

 

3. Can you have the hard drive plugged into the tv USB port (Sony Smart TV) and still access the hard drive and watch wirelessly on the iPad?

 

4. What apps would be best apart from the natives to watch different formats as I will have files varying from avi, mkv and mp4 movies etc on the hard drive

 

And finally.... Does anyone have any comments etc :)
