Ticket #6021590

To RAM Guy (or whomever else decides to grace this thread with their presence),

I recently had to file for an RMA on a Corsair Vengeance 2000 headset that I've grown very fond of since purchasing it. However, after a short while the plastic on the left side above the ear cup cracked and snapped. As well, after a short while the plastic on the right side completely broke off and now the ear cup dangles from the cord. I attempted to put it back together to prevent further damage while waiting on further response from Corsair (I put in the RMA request about 36~ hours ago). The sound and mic continue to function perfectly, except that due to the plastic snapping it's unable to rest (comfortably) on the user's head. Regardless of the outcome of this RMA, rest assured that Corsair will continue to be the brand of choice if I have to purchase another headset. Unfortunately, I'm not at home currently, but I can provide pictures of the headset when I get home if necessary.

As in other threads, I've seen you ask how the headset was treating to perhaps cause such cracks and signs of wear, and I hope you can believe me when I state that I'm extremely careful with any of my possessions and this is the only piece of hardware or accessory that I've owned that has met a fate such as this. I still have the original box that I purchased it in; I might even be able to find a copy of the receipt, but I cannot guarantee that. If there is any additional information you require, please do not hesitate to let me know and I'll get on it immediately.

Thank you for your time and support,

David
