K90/K95 Translucent Keys?

So I'm thinking of a mod to do to my keyboard (once it returns from RMA! :roll:) of replacing some keys with translucent ones. So its not completely transparent where you can see the switch inside, but something like 90% transparent black where the light diffuses all around the key.

 

Any place where to buy something like this? Or how to make them?

I don't know anywhere you can buy them, or even just regular keys that work with a backlight. You could probably easily make them with a 3D printer though.

There's a sticky above titled:

 

"Modified K90/K60: Color Keycaps & O-Ring Dampeners for Cherry MX Keyboards"

 

That has links to a couple of manufacturers of custom keycaps. Although I haven't found any of the backlit keys I'm looking for yet, there are special colored plastic keys that glow when backlit even though it's not just the label glowing... There are Skull shaped and even Darth Vader shaped keys as well.

 

I've also had some luck finding keycaps for Cherry MX keys just by searching using the web.

 

Just be careful as some specific keys such as spacebars may be different enough to not work well.
