Thanks for the response Ram Guy.

 

However, I am still somewhat confused. I received two emails, one indicating my product replacement request was approved and I should receive a follow up shipping confirmation email, and another stating my RMA has been processed which asks me to send back my faulty part. From what I've gathered replacement fan controllers just get sent out, so is sending the faulty one completely necessary? (not to mention the hassle).

Some of the system is automated in responses and we have not got them all worked out yet, this is a new ticket system. You do not need to send anything they will send a new controller ASAP.
