vectisitch
i just received my second replacement voyager 16gb flash drive. took it out the packet and formatted it to ntfs and it would not format and is now unrecognized. i can't do anything with it. surely these can be formatted to ntfs without problems? Toasted
Is the USB drive detected in the BIOS on startup?
vectisitch
it is recognised in bios startup and also listed in the bios screens. when i took it out the packet it worked ok. but when i formatted it to ntfs it stopped working. as soon as i plug it in a screen comes up saying you need to format drive H. i try to format it and it says windows was unable to complete the format then another window opens saying you need to format drive H before you can use it EDIT, it shows as RAW in disk manager and still won't format. seems strange that this has happened twice now to both RMA replacements
Toasted
Try SDFormatter and see if that helps. If not, try something like Parted Magic and see if it can format the drive.
