V8Goose
Hi and thanks for looking. I'm installing a Corsair H60 cooling fan, radiator and pump onto a CNC mill motor to cool it for long jobs... yes I know, not a CPU so what the...? I've looked everywhere for information regarding power for the fan and the pump to no avail. Do they both require 12v or 5v? Fans are typically 5v aren't they? Is the pump 12v? The fan has 4 wires and the pump has 3. I'm assuming the fourth wire on the fan is a control. I'll not be using any fan control obviously, hoping to install a switch in the power supply line to switch it on when needed. Thanks a lot! Goose PS: I had to install the radiator upside down... being a sealed unit I'm hoping that will work fine.
Bryman
well...i guess thats one way to use an H60 :P idk the voltage but fan watts are usually 3 max a piece and pump about 10 watts MAYBE 15 it just depends and yes the 4th pin is for PWM control
