Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 20, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 20, 2013 Do you have a different system to test the headset on? I'd like to know if the software has a problem detecting the headset through the USB dongle.
DacK
Same trouble here with the 2.07 driver. (just bought my headphone... Vengeance 2000) The software is in the traycon but won't open (right click, all is greyed except the exit one) I tried the older driver (Vengeance2000SW_1_7_051512.exe) and the work perfectly fine... so i guess all is ok with the 2000 it's a trouble with my system. I already clean all my registry and temp with no luck... :( btw the headphone work fine, i'll try it on my laptop and see what happens. EDIT : Work fine with my laptop so my headphone is ok... but the control panel still won't open with my other computer... :(
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 11, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 11, 2013 Can you check the device manager to see if it shows Vengeance 2000?
DacK
Yep, i see it in the audio device section. EDIT : ahah, you made me think and i found the problem ! (thanks to you) In fact the driver wasn't installed fine... I just had to manually update it with the one i found in the software install directory in the "program files/corsair headset..." I can now enjoy 7.1. :D:
