Corsair 500r white front usb slots issue

Hello Corsair,

 

 

 

Its my first time purchasing your products.Recently i've purchased an AX 760 psu & Corsair 500r white.

 

 

 

It hasnt been long since i've purchased the case,(like a week ago via amazon.more like 8 of may to be more precisely). I've petitioned about the issue but unfortunately i didnt get any answer within these 8 hours you promised.One of the two usb slots (3.0) seem to be broken.So i gotta use the 2nd slot but im not sure how long its gonna last.What i am asking is, a new corsair IO front panel for my case.Unfortunately i dont have that LOT code u asking.But i can show you my receipt from amazon.fr.Hope this section is the right otherwise u can move it to the right one.

It might took a bit time to get an answer but im glad you answered.

 

 

PS: May i send the faulty front io panel once im done with setting up the new you are sending me?

 

PS2.Do i need to send you a private message with the printing receipt?

their rma dept. it seems is always bz and they take in order received

Hello wytnyt,

 

 

I could contact corsair via phone right,but i'd feel uncomfortable talking on phone in english.I am greek you see,and i doubt my pronounce is that decent.

 

 

We have processed your Accessory Product replacement request. You will receive a shipping confirmation email shortly.

 

 

I got that as mail last night.So,i assume i need to wait for that shipping confirmation email before they send the replacement part to me?

Hello guys,

 

slowly starting to have faith in Corsair,

I'm also from Greece, and to be honest I didn't even consider requesting an RMA,

 

recently I bought the Carbide 500R + Hydro H100i, both have issues

(no fan-control on the H100i while my G15-keyboard is plugged in,

and then only upon fresh reboot WITHOUT the keyboard plugged, non-functioning fan-control on the frontside I/O panel of my 500R case),

 

so I'd like to ask George, did the replacement arrive, was it in good working order..?

 

Shall I follow your example, and request an RMA?

 

I already have a ticket open (#6018430),

but since the first suggestion there was no response from Corsair...

Johnk187 your last response on your ticket was on the 20th of May and we replied to you 3 min later about updating your firmware. If you are running the latest software and still cannot update the Firmware on the cooler I would suggest trying Version 1.07 that I posted Friday. But that was on your cooler I do not see a ticket on your case, so I would suggest submitting a new request.

hi everybody.

 

I tried all that and then some more, have read every single page on the forums,

only thing still left to try is to get a mini-USB to USB cable and connect the unit on an outside (and that's unfortunately not what I payed good money for).

 

To sum it up:

 

-H100i won't be seen in Corsair Link unless I boot up with my Logitech G15 keyboard UNPLUGGED (running FW 1.07)

-Red LED on the H100i is already dead

-No front-panel fan-control on the Carbide 500R case

 

Will request an RMA on both the H100i and the front-panel of the 500R-case,

sorry RAM-GUY but I don't see the reply you mentioned that came 3 minutes later on my ticket...
