shadyhost
I just traded out my H100i for an H80i because I will be getting a new case in the mail. The h80i was brand new in box and everything arrived the way my h100i did. I even used the same bracket to install it. It worked flawlessly for a few hours then my CPU started idling at 90c. I couldn't figure out what was going on but when I felt the tubes they didn't feel like water was moving through them. I checked with Corsair Link and it said the pump was running at 0 RPM. Plugging the fan cable into the motherboard also says its running at 0rpm in the bios. I have since created myself a small test bench on my desk using the stock intel heatsink that came with my 2600k (I've never used it before) and I can plug the H80i in while my computer is on. The pump actually runs for a few minutes but stops suddenly. I also cannot get Corsair Link to recognize it. Anyone have any similar issues? Should I just send it back to Corsair? wytnyt
insure the sata is connected and cpufan wire is connected, check in bios to see if pump is running ~2200 rpm,if not then yes unfortunately rma time,,if pump reads low you can tap the block to see if it jars the pump rpm. I was able to get a reading on the pump, it jumps up and down from 600RPM down to 80 and then back up to 500 before completely quitting out. How long does the RMA process take? I plan on shipping it back on Monday using UPS ground (assuming they approve my RMA) which should take around a week. From there is Corsair pretty quick about shipping things back?
