Striken
Hi, I clean install link2 v2.4.4948 OP: Windows 7 Enterprise X64 English version. I deleted my profile, uninstall the version 2.3 with Revo Uninstaller and delete old Reg. keys and restarted the PC before install the new 2.4 version. I’m really happy with this version, (excellent presentation and beautiful skin and works a lot better than 2.3). But… And I know it’s only Beta, and that’s why is here for download, so we can test it I suppose. Here it goes: It still asks to save your profile when you close it, (even without any changes). It still messes up your icons if you pass from one screen to another (same resolution, same monitor). Or if increasing/decreasing the window size and restore it. They stay all in top of the other. It still shows my Samsung 840Pro SSD with the wrong temperature. The version 2.2 didn’t. Finally and unfortunately, it detects all my hard drives in the devices but only shows one icon in the main screen, (the one from the main SSD hard drive). I hope this could help in detecting some issues to correct this new version. I’ll post the pictures so you can see what I mean. Excuse my English, it’s not my Country language. Thanks’ Corsair for the excellent work and all the support you give when we need! Corsair Employees COOL GUY Posted May 18, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 18, 2013 Thank you for the feedback. We are working on a couple of the items listed. 1.) In order for the "Save Profile" dialog box to not pop up on your, you have to manually save the profile after any changes are made. If you move the window, a icon, a setting, etc. and close the program, it will ask you to save again. 2.) The window positioning and icon positioning is being worked on. 3.) The Samsung drive outputs a specific temp and we are only reporting what the output is. We have not implemented any filtering for any specific drives as of yet as most other drives output in a different manner. 2.2 used different way of getting data that did not work for a large portion of MB, GPU's, and HDD's that we were trying to get data from. 2.3 uses a more standard way of getting data. That being said, all of your drives should show up and we will look into that.

One thing you need to know is that the same hard drive, in the version 2.2 had the correct temperature showing. Do you think that the way of getting data from the vs.2.2 worked better and possibly can be implemented in this version? Now one drive more pops up in the screen but the other one still nothing. Also, most of the times now, (even after restarting the service or the computer), both drives shows they're temperature at 0 degrees. Is if the application cannot read them. If you need any logs or more input just tell me, I'll be glad to assist. Cheers,
