WiNG_C
Greetings, I am afraid I am a bit at a lost here with my situation. I have a H80 water cooler that behaved excellently until yesterday. Running on the medium setting, always below 60ºC when under load. Since yesterday though, my CPU started overheating to 80+ºC when idle. I have tried getting the pump to max speed (now Asus AI suite and my UEFI says it is running at 4000RPM instead of 2000RPM) but the problem persists, I can't keep the computer up for more a couple minutes until the CPU starts overheating. I have checked the radiator fans and they are both running as they should, they are even blowing cold air outside as the refrigeration liquid does not seem to be getting hot around the radiator. I would think the pump is not working, however the readings reports correct speeds Any help as to what might be wrong?
peanutz94
Sounds as if the pump is dead despite the RPM readings. Please use the link on the left to request an RMA.
