pcgeek
Hi! The performance of my first Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB was fine, however it could not be detected after some time of use, so I RMA'd it. However, the new Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB I received has really poor performance, it has slow speed either when reading and writing. Maybe the new Voyager comes with different flash chips and controller than the old one I guess? I would like to know what is the "normal" specs of the new Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB? I can't check the official read and write specs for this flash drive right now, since the product page for Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB is down at the moment, so I am not sure if I can RMA this drive stating that it is slow. Here's the benchmark results of the drive: http://i5.minus.com/ixDodRAzqxeie.png http://i5.minus.com/ir5RySXW2mi51.png Note that the read speed is far more slower than write speed starting from 8.0KB transfer size which is quite weird. Should I RMA this drive again? Thanks!
