Corsair Link 2 Crashing on Windows Startup

I have the latest corsair link 2 app set to start with windows. However, when I log in it crashes with the following:

I've bolded the relevant bits. I have not tried to un-install / re-install but before I do that has anybody seen this?

 

I'm running Win7 x64 and an H80i.

Reinstall the software and see if that helps.

Have you also tried reinstalling NET. Framework 4.5?

 

Does the app rely on components from 4.5? I ask because I don't have 4.5 installed but it didn't seem to have a problem installing. Before I re-install is there a list of prerequisites you can point me to?

no,things work as well with 4.0

biggest concern be reinstall is make sure all of corsair is removed

especially appdata in your user profile.
