Cartapouille
Hi everyone! So yeah, sorry for my english, but I had troubles with my power supplies GS 800 lately. After about 1 or 2 years without problems, I opened my computer to get rid of the dust. Then my computer started to turn off by itself randomly. And having it restarting was impossible sometimes, or I sometimes had to play with the connector on the motherboard. I enventually found out that one of pins got holes on it. You can see them, poorly cause of my phone's camera, below, it's hard to describe it. Well, what do you think happened? Was this there from the beginning? And more important, how can I fix this? I don't think my power supply is dead but this connector most certainly is. Any thoughts? Well, thank you anyway for looking at my problem :) http://forum.canardpc.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6478&d=1366910286 http://forum.canardpc.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6479&d=1366910292

peanutz94
The only way to fix that is to have the PSU RMA'd. I wouldn't continue to use it until then. Obviously there is a short somewhere, whether it be the MB or PSu I would have it replaced before more permanent damage is caused.
Cartapouille
Ok thanks, I sent a request. Even though I bought it a while ago and I can't find the bill. Oh and is the lot code the big serie of number printed below the bar code on the PSU? Cause I don't have the box anymore.
