Hi

I want to know if I am able to use these rams with that motherboard.

 

The version of the ram, is 512mb chips.

Yes you could use those in that board. However they do not appear on the compatibility list for that board so they have not been specifically tested. But they should still work okay.

 

And the board is limited to 16gig max so with only two slots you could use the newer 8gig modules .

Thanks, do you know anything about that chipset?

I guess if they work with that chipset, they would work with newer chipsets too.

 

I already got my 2x4gb modules atm, so not investing more than necesarry.

If that is an AMD MB at least that model number comes back on an Asrock AM3+ MB and if so there will be no problem with these modules or any current module on that MB
