Corsair 650D hotswap bay?

Hello!

 

I've tried to get in contact with the support for almost a month now and it feels like I'm being ignored.

 

I'm trying to get my hands on a new hotswap bay for my 650D (the whole top plastic compartment with the sliding door), I've looked trough the store and there is no replacement to buy.

 

Atm it looks like http://i.imgur.com/3jGY1li.jpg and its quite annoying.

 

Hope someone can help with my issue.

Unfortunately, the Hot-swap bay is not available as a spare/replaceable part.
I've had luck in the past getting parts that are not in the store as a replacement part.

 

It also feels like there is no support anymore, I opened a ticket 25/4/2013 and still no reply, it says reply normally within 8 hours.

Hello Toasted, i have a ticket with a similar problem on hotswap bay.(mine is dead) and i open the ticket since 16th of April .

the ticket number is 6005595

 

please respond to my latest message and tell me what you are thinking of doing because my patience has passed through all these days...

all the time i get different answers.

 

i am ready on returning it and get the refund from amazon and buy another manufacturer's case in order to do my job as i want...

because i think the people in the support forgot that is a system on my company and i make money from it...

i need the hotswap .

that's the reason i purchased this case .

 

all this support in this ticket is the least unacceptable ...

very very disappointed of the poor support.

What happened to the original bay? And how old is the case??

I've had luck in the past getting parts that are not in the store as a replacement part.

If you can it might be easier to call CS and ask them if that part is available. But you are correct, some parts are available even though they are not listed in the store.

Do you need the whole bay as the OP? Or just the cable assembly?

Toasted is NOT a Corsair employee. Just one of the few forum helpers here. So he would not be able to make any decisions regarding your case.

 

I really would suggest calling CS by phone via the toll free number. If you use SKYPE it is a free call from anywhere in the world.

 

All you need is the cable assembly that connects to the bay if it is not functioning or has quit functioning correctly. But you shouldn't need the whole bay i would imagine. Unless it was damaged somehow.

it is not damaged .. it is just not functional...

and it is unaccepted the support from the CS ...

i will call them tommorow and if i dont have an answer of when it will be delivered i am afraid that i will say goodbye to my 650d..

 

in this case i think that they do not show respect to me as a customer and they do not think that this is a "how to lose one more customer of many rma requests "

 

i am really tired of rma-ing the 60% of my corsair products :mad:

Case is about 1 and a half years old.

 

The stuff first broke when I replaced the fan controller. The original one gave up and made my fans spin wierd so I replaced it, managed to break the door in the process.

 

Been using tape to cover the hole for a while but it got to the point where I want it complete again and not broken.
