khurramcreation
Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB, not working on Intel Motherboard DH67CL Sata iii 6GB Connector Hello Members. I have purchased New Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB but It's not working on Intel Motherboard DH67CL Sata iii 6gb port in one system, but first day it was working fine but second day I have got the problem. This MB having two Sata ii 3gb ports and two Sata iii 6gb ports, I have been tried both Sata iii 6gb ports but ssd is not showing in BIOS and PC showing the error that no boot device is connected, but this SSD has worked fine on Sata ii ports, also I have been tested two WD 2TB Sata iii HDD drive on both sata iii ports that was worked fine but SSD on same port not working. Some time its show in BIOS but PC is not loading windows and displaying error no boot device available. But this SSD Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB working fine on my other PC that having the same Motherboard on Sata III ports but difference between two PCs is that: PC (SSD not working) Motherboard: Intel DH67CL Processor: i5 2500K RAM: 8GB Kingston Power supply: Plextor 550Watt PC (SSD working) Motherboard: Intel DH67CL Processor: i7 2600K RAM: 8GB Kingston Power supply: Cooler Master 520 Watt I think problem is power supply but I am not sure because all things are same but difference is only power supply and processor. Please help me and guide me what I do here... Regards Khurram
Toasted
Do you have the latest BIOS? Have you tried a different SATA data cable? Reset the BIOS to defaults by shorting the pins on the motherboard or by removing the CMOS battery and see if that helps.
Incriminated
According to "sometimes it shows, sometimes not" this could only be a defective/loose SATA-connector on the drive or the motherboard. Sure, normally you dont touch it physically after booting, but HDD might put heavy vibrations onto the 2,5"/3,5"-cages Please unplug all drives except the corsair at Sata_0 (Port1) on main Sata-III. Repeat shutting down and bounce the cable in the sata-connector at the drive in the meaning of softly moving it a very little on the connector (down/up/left/right/firm plug-in). When it got found, carefully try that (only for data-cable!!!), while PC is running. Does the drive suddenly disconnects? WHatever, you dont need to test this any further at all, just request RMA! PS: Im not responsive for any damage you cause on your hardware or yourself touching internals of the pc while its running ;) be warned

Reset the BIOS to defaults by shorting the pins on the motherboard or by removing the CMOS battery and see if that helps.Hi, Toasted Thank you very much to reply for my problem... I have been latest BIOS, also I have been tried different more then 7 SATA data cables and check this ssd in 3 different PC's two PC's having motherboard Intel DH67CL and one having Intel board DH77KC with 3rd Gen i7. I have reset the BIOS to defaults in 3 systems but same problem also checked by removing the CMOS battery in one system but don't get the solution. Please tell me how shorting the pins on the motherboard. I have been updated firmware of Neutron GTX with the help of corsair toolbox but now its permanently disable on 6gb connectors on all three systems but showing in BIOS also in windows 7 if I boot windows on HDD but windows can't format and read this drive. When i have attached it on 3gb connector then this become workable and I have been secure wiped from corsair toolbox... after that same problem. Before updated the firmware ssd was working first attached try in my two pcs but now I have tried on new pc Intel board DH77KC with 3rd Gen i7 and its not recognizable but working on 3gb connector. Can I go back to old firmware 306 that is the original firmware. I have contacted to authorized dealer of corsair, he has been checked this drive on asus board on 6gb connector and he was saying me drive is ok and we have no problem in this ssd we have been installed the windows 7 but we don't having the problem. Please advise me what can i do in this situation. Best regards Khurram

Toasted
The SSD is in the BIOS when plugged into a SATA III 6.0Gb/s port? If yes, See if you can secure erase the drive in Parted magic and see if that helps. You can use this tool to boot Parted magic from a USB http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=87615
