H100i, 600T and scythe AP15's

Hi guys.

I wanna replace the stock fans on my H100i but have a few questions I hope you can help with.

Looking at these fans. Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM - 3 Pin AP-15's. I hear they are very good with good pressure and low noise.

Will they fit under the top grill on the 600T? The stock H100i fans are already a tight fit under there.

Can I connect them directly to the H100i just like the stock fans and control them through the LINK program?

Thanks

They will fit...they are the same size as the stock fans. Whether or not you can control them with the H100i is another story. Some say they work others can't control them. I really would suggest you stick with a 4 pin PWM fan if you plan on using the H100I for control.

I have also read about people who have bought 4 pin pwm fans for the H100i and even they sometimes don't work with link. It seems to just be luck.

Shouldn't any 4 pin pwm fans work with LINK2 on an H100i?

Technically speaking any 4 pin PWM fans will work, but we don't guarantee that it will recognize in corsair link. You are more than welcome to give it a try.

You can take the plastic grill apart from the steel mesh top and cut out a section where the fans mount on the case. If done correctly, the top mesh will sit perfectly as if it was ment to without the tight bulge. I even had way more than enough space to add fan grills and was still able to close and secure the top. :)
