LaurentB
Hi RAM GUY, I finally received my ram on 14th of may with UPS, then two days later UPS came again to pick up my defective ram. But since then I still didn't receive the 99$ I've paid for the express replacement and I have the same problem with my new ram: I can't reach 1600 10,10,27,2T at 1,5V with my sabertooth Z77? Thanks for your help!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 15, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 15, 2013 Once the failed memory is received they will credit you back the price you paid. And I would speak to our customer service but give them 48-72 Hours after we receive the memory. All you should have to do is make sure that you have the latest MB BIOS then go to BIOS setup and load setup defaults and enable XMP Profile one. peanutz94
I have the same problem with my new ram: I can't reach 1600 10,10,27,2T at 1,5V with my sabertooth Z77? If this is a new build, then i would seriously consider having the MB replaced. It's just about impossible to get tow totally different sets that have or are failing the same. You might even want to pull the CPU and inspect the socket for bent pins. This will cause that sort of issue easily. One other thing to try is manually setting the voltage to 1.55 and even 1.6v if you need to. Some MB's will undervolt the memory despite what the reading is or what you have it set to in the BIOS.
