Utter Dissapointment in Corsair 600 build

Recommended Posts

I built a system using a competitors case and cooler. Read positive review on the H100I. So, decided to change cases and cooler. Purchased the 600. After I took all my components out of the original case, I find the 600 has no hot swap drive bay. That sucks. Then find I can't use a push/pull fan config with this case and the H100i. Then I find the fan controller doesn't work. Then find the Corsair link 2 is clumsy, weird and not easy to figure out. Then I find the H100i cools worse than what I originally built. Then I find the front panel USB won't plug into MB. That is stupid what Corsair did for that. So, I am thinking, with all these issues, and reading all the other consumer issues over a variety of topics, probably time to take my support somewhere else. Oh, one other thing, if you're considering this case and plan to use a read fan radiator, and have high end memory modules, don't because you memory will be be too high for the radiator. Great work Corsair!. Also, I did add the grille to the side panel and added two Corsiar 120 fans. Zero improvement. I say again, zero improvement.

I am sorry that you had trouble but was this on the 600T case? If so then I do not see the issue with push pull configurations in I have one running on my system at home. You may have to move two of the fan out side the case if you have an X79 Chipset with the memory slots at the top edge of the MB. There is room for the fans under the top cover.

And I am sorry but the only case we have made with Hot swap bays was the 800D.

If you would like to contact our tech support we would be happy to help you get these issues resolved as best we can. Or if you can be a bit more specific we can maybe address them one at a time and try to help you.
