Neutron Series refresh (GTX vs regular)

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that the regular (blue label) Neutron got 128/256GB capacities with the refresh (used to be 120/240). Yet the GTX stayed at 120/240 etc. How do I know if I'm buying a new, refreshed, version of a GTX? and does corsair plan on upgrading the capacity for GTX, the same way as with regular Neutron?

There should be a product description that shows the drive's speed, compare it to the drives product page.

I think the newer GTX drivers have a "B" CSSD-N120GBGTXB-BK

The older ones doesn't have the "B" CSSD-N120GBGTX-BK

So new GTX drives will still have 120/240/480 capacities?

Please check the link I gave you. The part numbers are listed on each page. The "B" version is the newer version you asked about in your first post as Toasted noted and as is listed on the product pages.

There are no shortages, they are just selling very well.

http://www.memoryexpress.com

They have lots just got one.

I don't like them. Return policy is horrid like all smaller stores. I saw GTX on amazon.ca even futureshop and best buy had them a few months ago. Not only they have free shipping, they also provide no questions asked return policy (and I can drop it off at any local store). With prices easily price matched to smaller stores as well. So I was surprised to see all major stores not carrying GTX any more (except amazon, maybe, as they seem to really hate updating their asus and corsair offerings...).
