Faithh07
I've gone through like 5 RMA's through my shop and they all were whining like hell. I've heard that the AX860i doesn't have that issue so RAMGUY can you make sure I get one? RMA #6014037
peanutz94
faith07 you would need to call into CS and discuss this with them. Generally they will only RMA for the exact same model , but since you have had multiple units they make an exception. But again , you would need to call and discuss this with them. I couldn't add a 2nd part number but I have it in the description: "My H100i's led & fan controller died and this AX860 is making a very very loud high pitch noise. I've heard that this is a very common problem and I'd like to have the AX860i instead of the ax860. I've disabled the power saving options etc and nothing helped." You'll have to create a separate RMA for the PSU and then contact CS by phone and ask about the switch. But generally unless they are out of stock on the 860 you will get the same unit back.
