WikoSiko
My fans make grinding sounds and my pump sits at 2200 RPM. What I want to know is if there is going to be a fix for this or not cause I really don't want to have to RMA my unit. And if I get new fans I want to know they will work. Also I'm a bit concerned, My Core i5 3570 runs at 30-40 degrees Celsius at idle and 70-80 degrees on load. This is when playing Battlefield 3 on Ultra. peanutz94
Did your cooler come with 3pin fans or the new 4pin fans? Also I'm a bit concerned, My Core i5 3570 runs at 30-40 degrees Celsius at idle and 70-80 degrees on load. Are you overclocking? What kind of case , ambient temps, fans used in your system and so on? They all will have an effect on your temps.
WikoSiko
No overclocks besides stock overclocks, Stock H100i fans, Ambient temps are currently 15-20 degrees Celsius. Also I'm more or less going to just get some of these fans: Noiseblocker NB-eloop B12-P Cougar CF-V12HPB Vortex Noctua NF-P12 Which do you think? Each have rather high CFM and Static Pressure. I'm thinking the Cougar fans as they are cheapish but still have 120 CFM and 2.2 static pressure with only 17.9 dB's. Unlike the Noiseblocker's sitting and a tad bit higher but with 28.4 dB's, Probably due to the high RPM. Ok here are the specs: Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 ASRock Z77E-ITX Mini ITX Corsair Hydro Series H100i (Stock Fans)(In a exhaust config, I would of preferred intake) Intel Core i5 3570K (Stock no overclock) BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX The GPU is amazing doesn't go over 50-60 deg even under load :
