hok4711
Hello all, how to start CorsairLink2 Application directly into the System Tray. After logging into Windows 7 the Application is minimized, but not in System Tray. How to solve this situation? Many Thanks & best regards, hok4711

Speed
On Win 8, it's not a problem. Shows up in the System Tray and, if you have it on the Launch Bar, it just glows. However, your sig made my eyes hurt.
MykaAurora
If it glows on launcher bar, then its the same problem as we are. :D Not hurting my eye tho. May I say your sig made my eye sore?
iWingers
I find on Windows 8, it minimises to System Tray but will stay open when you Alt-Tab (which I need to do often for my work) unlike other programs like Steam, Origin, RealTemp, etc. I'd love for it to just sit in System Tray and not appear as a program when tabbing through open programs. Also, it doesn't seem to open for me from the Launch Bar (as I have it pinned there) if it's been minimised, I have to alt-tab into it or open from System Tray. Speed
I'd love for it to just sit in System Tray and not appear as a program when tabbing through open programs. Then uncheck "Run at Windows Startup". Once you have a good custom profile set, you really don't need the CorsairLink UI starting. CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.exe is still set to run at startup by the rule in Task Scheduler, and that's all you need. If you want to manually start it to check something, then it starts as a normal application. Does take a while to initialize but doesn't require any gyrations to make it show on the screen, like it does when minimized.
MykaAurora
Good solution, thank you. But sometimes, my AX1200i fan will stop running, and have to restart in Corsair Link UI.

The CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.exe Process is still running in the Background and makes ... nothing! The temperature control on CPU load does not work. After the start of UI all runs fine ... Any other hints? regards hok4711

Can't debug what I can't reproduce, so... no clue.
MykaAurora
Mine almost never runs. I know. My climate is hot, means my ambient temperature is high. I'm trying to cool off my AX by running the fan at 40%.

Yeah, except my Lightning Node colours aren't what they're supposed to be on Startup, even when it's set to a different profile.
