rick98761
I got this mouse a few hours ago, and everything seems to be working great so far. The only issue I am having is with the profile LED. I currently have 2 profiles set up. I can switch back and forth just fine using the mouse keys. The mouse changes settings just like you would expect. The only issue is the bottom LED stays lit up no matter what profile I use. I have assigned both profiles separate LED lights, and saved it to the M95, but I am still getting the same behavior. What do I need to do?
Corsair Jason
Make sure you have selected hardware playback which is located on the bottom left of the Corsair software.
rick98761
Make sure you have selected hardware playback which is located on the bottom left of the Corsair software. That did not seem to do anything.
rick98761
Well I kind of have it working now. I can get the lights to change and profiles to change, but only if I bind keys to profile up and down commands. I wanted to use the profile select command which I assume cycles through the profiles? That is what it does on software mode. Also, why is it letting me cycle through LED lights that are not even assigned to a profile? I only have two profiles assigned to the first two LED lights, yet I can activate up and down through all 6.
NothinPersonal
Did you read up on the manual/pdf? Cause what it sounds like is you just plugged and played with it. Then had a panic attack?
rick98761
Did you read up on the manual/pdf? Cause what it sounds like is you just plugged and played with it. Then had a panic attack? yes I did. There is no reason the profile select command should go through LED 1-4 then just dead stop, never hits 5 or 6 or resets back to 1. That is in hardware mode. In software mode, it cycles through how ever many profiles I have then starts back over at the start. Love the mouse so far, just seems to be a common opinion that the software could use a bit of work.
hunternine
Did you read up on the manual/pdf? Cause what it sounds like is you just plugged and played with it. Then had a panic attack? The user manual doesn't mention anything about the LED's ONLY working if "Hardware Playback" is enabled.
Codysydney
They must have listened to you. manual now says: Disadvantages of software playback The main disadvantages of software playback are: 1) some applications block macro playback by reading directly from the hardware rather than the Windows keyboard buffer; and 2) because more than six profiles can be used, the profile LEDs on the mouse are disabled as they cannot be mapped to the complete list of profiles. Toasted
The manual always said that. It was originally in the M90 manual which is also the M95 manual.
