Aron88
Greetings, I have the annoying thing that my V2000 simply doesn't start with dolbt 7.1 enabled when windows start, and I need to turn it on manually every time. This could be odd, but it's really making me mad.
Administrators Technobeard Posted May 3, 2013 Administrators Share Posted May 3, 2013 Are you removing the USB transmitter, or is it always in the system?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 6, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 6, 2013 It's Windows that resets your audio settings and not the software unfortunately. We don't have a workaround for this.
Kyle Ragnador
On my windoes 8 pro 64bit it works (Windows 8 is using a sleep state only a restart will reset it). Your Mainboard shouldn't deactivate USB if you shut it down (check Bios options). Then you can even charge it, while not using the PC.
Lore21
I have the same problem: every time I restart my system, the Dolby setting go back to deactivated status in the Corsair Vengeance 2000 drivers, and I have to manually reactivate it every single time. Needless to say, this is very annoying... (I'm using "Corsair Vengeance Headset Dolby Driver Version 2.0.7" on Windows 7 64bit, and I never unplug the USB dongle or deactivate the USB ports) I don't understand what "it's Windows that resets your audio settings" means: it's not a Windows driver setting, it's a setting in your driver (Windows settings don't change even after a restart, btw, the headset keeps showing up as "7.1 Surround" in Audio Devices), you should just save it and restore it after a restart... Lore21
Anyone from Corsair caring to explain how is this a Windows fault and not their driver fault? Any plan to address this issue in a future release?

Kyle Ragnador
Shouldn't be so hard to load a profile in corsair software at system start. They should only implement it^^. But still. In Windows 8 it works for me. (Usb is still powered when Computer is shut down, No using restart)
