markuk
I seem to have had the same issue all the LED appear to be dead, done the upgrade firmware thing, but no joy. I would like to know what's causing the problem, I would much rather have a fix than an RMA, because of the time it's going to take to replace the cooler. I would take a guess that it is heat related, maybe the LED joints are melting, it would be nice to know if it's a hardware fault, it would help prevent all that wasted time fault finding. wytnyt
I will more likely go for a refund and use the money to buy something from a competitor that works as advertised. unless you go with a custom loop system, any other liquid cooler would be a big step back, after all you are talking about an led which is only glitter and doesnt affect is main purpose--cooling.any other cooler doesn't even offer the glitter effect so its another step back. theres lots of ''extras'' with these coolers that most dont have. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 3, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 3, 2013 I would take a guess that it is heat related, maybe the LED joints are melting, it would be nice to know if it's a hardware fault, it would help prevent all that wasted time fault finding. It is the LED that is at fault. I would suggest that you get the unit replaced via RMA process and if you wish to avoid downtime, there is an Express RMA where we can send out the replacement first rather than the other way around.
