jado88
I installed a second GPU the other day but my PSU made a loud noise and wouldn't turn on again. So tonight I tried the paper clip test and it powered the fan but yesterday it wouldn't.I've just put it back into my case and connected all cables needed and I'm still getting no power at all.Do you think it's possible that the loud noise was infact my mobo dying or could the PSU be faulty, I just think it's weird how it wouldn't power a fan last night and today it will, any help is appreciated :sigh!:

There really isn't any way to answer this without knowing what hardware is on your system. You can add them in the user control panel.
jado88
Added my specs. Edit: I'm fairly certain that it was my motherboard that popped and not my PSU, I'm still not sure why it was powering a fan one night and not on another night.
