can't change speed of new fans

Hello,

I've had my h100i for over 2 months and its been working fine (other than the led's, all i have left is green).

I have my h100i installed on my 650d and over the weekend I decided to move them from the 650d speed switch to the h100i so I can manipulate the speed via link. The two fans moved over were my 200mm stock fan on the front and my af120 proformance on the back (i replaced the stock 120mm).

Link recognizes the fans ok, but I can't change the speed at all. As you can see by the screen shot, the 200mm front fan is only @ 600rpms and I think its rated at 1000rpm.

Any idea what the issue could be? thank you.

The H100i will run aftermarket fans at max speed, it can only control stock fans. Some fans may work with the H100i.

thank you, the fans i added were the stock 650d 200mm fan up front and a new Corsair Air Series AF120 Performance Edition.

I am sorry but the case fans that come with the case cannot be controlled this way using the fan controller n the HXXXi series coolers.

thank you. so that takes care of the 200mm stock 650d fan, but what about my new Corsair Air Series AF120 Performance Edition CO-9050003-WW 120mm High Airflow Case Fan? and can you suggest a corsair 200mm fan that will work w/ link?

Currently I am sorry but no, the only fans I can suggest with the cooler would be the fans we specifically have for the Coolers.

Hydro Series H80i/H100i SP120L 2700 RPM Replacement PWM Fan

For the 200 MM Fans they can only be changed a few hundred RPM and the way the controller works in the cooler there is not enough voltage difference to change the speed of a fan like that. Not to mention we use a modified PWM voltage profile to control fan speed which most fans do not respond well to.
