Kellen17
Hello, When I bought the h100i and installed into my new build it was not recognized. So I read some threads about the "two usb's in the motherboard" problem. I took out another usb device and the system saw the h100i properly. When I opened corsairlink it still was not seen. I uninstalled and re installed corsairlink, downgraded to an older version, and also tried plugging the usb into the back with a wire i found lying around. Still nothing so I came here. Any suggestions? Note that the h100i is working fine and keeping my cpu cooled.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 2, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 2, 2013 Under Device Manager, do you have anything there that is an unknown device? Do you have USB connected to the front I/O ports of your case? If you do, unplug them and leave the H100i's USB cable by itself. Uninstall the SW and re install it back. j3g
Corsair Link is crashing. I unplugged h100i. Is there a name of a USB device I should find in Device Manager?
godan.ak
I have a similar problem in my h100i, LED and one of the two fans stop working, if I change the fan cable from the port (ports that are on the pump) it will restart the 2 fans, but the LED does not light the status of the h100i, pump and fans do not appear in CL2, how can I fix this? Toasted
Check Device Manager and see if there is a "Unknown Device" Try a miniUSB B to Type A cable and see if that helps.
