SiriusStarr
Hi all, This forum seems to be the only way to contact support if they're not responding to your tickets, so... I have an issue with my brand new H100i, namely that the standoff broke off inside one of the thumb screws upon tightening the cooling block. From looking online, this is a known issue that has not been fixed (namely that the thumbscrews and standoff are narrow enough with respect to the hole that they can slip sideways when tightening and snap). Additionally, the backplate is loose, which appears to be a known issue when used with some Asus motherboards (I have a Sabertooth Z77; CPU is a i7-3770k, not that that is particularly relevant). Accordingly, I need a replacement set of mounting hardware to replace the damaged set (and hopefully I can install the block without damage the second time, now knowing about the design flaw). However, I contacted support about this over a week ago and have yet to receive any sort of response whatsoever. I closed my original tickets (accidentally created two) and opened a new one, in case it hadn't gone through the first time, but I have still yet to receive a response to that after 5 days. The relevant ticket number is 6008625. Thanks, ~Sirius
SiriusStarr
Update: I just received an e-mail stating that my Express Replacement request has been processed with regards to this ticket and that my card has been charged. I did not request the express RMA (just an accessory), nor is my card on file with Corsair, so I am assuming this is a glitch? Additionally, the e-mail included instructions for shipping, which seems a bit odd, since it can't be fixed, since it's just a few snapped/bent screws, and it seems a bit ridiculous to pay postage on it. Regardless, thanks to whoever assisted in getting this handled, if the timing was related to my post. :-)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 29, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 29, 2013 Your request to the mount kit was in process but we bumped it though so it should ship out right away and you should get an email soon with a conformation and a follow on email with tracking information.
