rirusscor
I am planning to upgrade my motherboard and have 12GB of TW3X4G1333C9DHX on a DP55WG right now. Is this memory compatible with either the Intel DZ77RE-75k or DX79SR mother board? Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

peanutz94
Your best bet is to get a new dual or kit that has been tested on those boards. Mixing memory , in your case 4 individual sticks , is not recommended or supported by corsair thee is just no way of telling if those would run or not on the new boards. They have not made those in years so they would not have been tested either by corsair or Intel. Either a matched 2x8gig kit of the dual channel board or a 4x4gig kit for the quad board. Or look up the boards from the QVL or Corsairs memory finder and find a single matched 16gig kit that HAS been tested on those systems.
