Corsair K60 fading keys/turning grey

D3NNIS

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Today I questioned myself why my keys are turning gray/fading out. It's not a big deal but I didn't expect this because they are laser etched. This would mean that they wouldn't wear out so easily or not at all.

Can someone explain what to do? Honestly, I don't want to send the keyboard back to Corsair for such a problem. Actually I would like to have a bag of replacement keys because of the shipping costs (and shipping itself) and having no keyboard then.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis :)

We can replace the K60 for you D3nnis as this was an issue with really early releases of the motherboard. Submit a RMA to the left and I'll help you with the replacement costs. I don't have a bag of keys so it would have to be an entire keyboard replacement. We also do have Express RMA options available too if you can't be without your keyboard during the exchange process.

Hi RAM GUY,

Yesterday I have found out that my one of my SP120 PE fans on my H100i died (they are stiff and it's hard to turn them). Sorry that I didn't let myself hear after you have responded, I hadn't much time too to return the K60 back. Anyways, now that I have vacation and my SP120 died, I will try to send them back within 1 week. However, I have 2 questions remaining: can I combine this RMA? (I did it before with my H100 and memory). Likewise, do I need to return everything in it's original packaging?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis
