Sierra2 in services

Is the Sierra2 software supposed be running in services? The link software is not seeing my H100i and I think thats my problem. I can't see the Sierra2 running anywhere in the task manager or services. If thats the problem how can I repair it?

OK I see that corsairlink hardware monitor is running in processes. I tried the cable from my PS3 and it seems to work, but the same thing happens that happens with stock cable. If I power off the PC and unplug it and wait, than power up the PC the pump led will light up and than go out when windows first starts loading. I have the fans hooked to the MB fan headers and everything is working ok but it would be nice if the link software worked so I keep a eye on the pump rpm. I guess I will live without it.

This may help,

Change the H100i L.E.D. colour in the SW and save the profile. By default, the L.E.D.s are off when the software starts without a profile saved.

If you do have one, Create a temporary profile and see if it does the same thing.

I can't change the profile as long as the software doesn't see the hardware. I had this problem once before and RMA the H100i and that solved the problem for a while. This time I didn't mess with the firmware because it already had the new firmware. Than one day I moved the fans around and the link2 software stopped seeing the H100i. It may be something in my MB [Asus Sabertooth X79].

It has nothing to do with your MB. Stop Corsair Link Hardware monitor under task manager then uninstall the software from the control panel including all the profiles. Install the Corsair Link SW again then go to “Options” tab and then click “Reset to defaults” then shutdown the system. Unplug the USB connector from the USB header then plug it back in to the same header or try a different header, then turn the system back on.

Also, if you any other HW monitoring app such as AI Suite, it best to kill them in the back ground to avoid conflict with Corsair Link.
