problems with usb in h100i

hi guys.

I'm having issues with my usb cable.

during the instalation, i have noted that windows not recognized the usb cable in the pump. windows says that a device was not recognized

I installed the corsair link 2.3 and the pump and fans not appeared in the program to make the adjust of speed of fans.

I made a search on the net and a possible problem is that usb cable is with problem.

I installed an another kind of cable usb and the device was recognized.

I used an usb cable that comes with sony cams and motorola cell phones.

after that I uninstalled the CL 2.3 and cleaned the register, reboot the pc and instaled the CL 2.1.7.

and with the cable from another device I got my pump working.

an expensive product like h100i ( here in Brazil is very expensive because of taxes ) should not be allowed have problems like that

Is it a cable's problem, or it's just you using the integrated or the 3rd party USB controller of your mainboard?

i think that is a cable problema, and opened a RMA request.

after all, I can surely say that is a cable problem and Iinstalled the 2.3 version of Corsair Link and it worked.

well, my RMA request was accepted.

 

thank you corsair for so many problems in choose you to build my hardware.

and I not requested RMA in my front and side grills where the paint is stripping.
