gardse
hello everyone, i plan on getting an intel DZ77BH-55K and need a 2x8gb RAM kit with 1600MHz (timings don't matter to me) at 1.5V is there any reason _not_ to get the "old" dominator kit? http://www.hardwareversand.de/1600+Low+Voltage/61895/16GB-Kit+Corsair+Dominator+PC3-12800U+CL10.article it's in stock (despite the age) and around 30% cheaper than the new platinum series (and well, it also fits the board's colour scheme nicely...) i checked the corsair RAM configurator thingy, but said MB is not listed there. just lookin' for a quick "yes np" or a devastating "omg dis no work wit dat boardzz" here. ty in advance
peanutz94
The Dominator although are an "older" line are still made with basically the same chips as the Platinums. They would be just as new as the Platinum modules. So either of them would be fine with that board.
