aku525
Hi, a few days ago I bought the vengeance 1500 headsets from my local online retailer (I live in Indonesia) They are great sounding headsets but there is one thing that I do not understand. The mic is quite flexible, but it only works at a certain angle. I bought the 1500's because of what I heard was corsair's legendary customer service, but if I have to rma then can you at least give a rough estimate how long will that take? if it takes too long or I have to pay shipping I will just hold up with the problem (not a big deal anyways). Toasted
I think the V1500 use's a boom mic. It will mute when its moved to the top. and it should work when its moved down. When does it stop working?
aku525
Vertically its fine but when i bend it to the right (which is where my mouth is located) it wont work. Instead i have to bend it to the left, maybe about 5-10 degrees when the mic is straight. Once i do that, the mic works at any angle vertically. I will update the post with a picture if that is possible, as i am currently outside of home.
Toasted
Contact your online retailer and ask if they can replace it. If not, request an RMA to replace it.
aku525
Alright thanks for your input i will try and see if I can get a replacement. I will update this post to see if getting a replacement will fix it or not, but that will probably come maybe a few weeks or months later. I've got a bit of house problems currently :P. Anyways thanks again for your help
