ganjiry
 This post is not meant to gloat or anything. Ello folks, As the only reason people usually make a thread about the H100i is for support or to complain about faults. People only get to see the bad results which ends up putting people off the product. I know it did me, I spent a few days deciding weather to even bother opening the box due to the amount of horror stories i read in these forums. Well i finally got around to it and couldn't be any happier with it so far. No loud noises at all, No grinding pump/ fan controller. I'm using Cougar Vortex CF-V12HP(PWM) fans with 3 x fixed rpm profiles of 1100,1200 and 1275rpm which are very quiet. I'm using version 2.3.4816 of Corsair link and the stock firmware that was preinstalled. I will add that it was the same with the H100 for me too but the fan controller stated making noise 10 months down the line. Still under warranty though :D
wytnyt
i have had a h80,an h100 and now have 2 h100I and they all have been working like a charm.i just think its not so much as these coolers being bad as it is the other hardware/software that others are using plug and play is one thing but being able to troubleshoot is entirely another matter whats really bad is like you said, people will shy away from buying just because one guy has a messed up led or a hard drive wont show and goes from thread to thread raising hell because he doesnt understand the concept. Nec_V20
I have had my H80 running 24/7 in my computer for about two and a half years now with no problem whatsoever. I have recently bought an H60. I am happy with them. I was put off buying an H80i by the reports, but even without the reports, I never buy anything new (such as the "i" series of coolers) that has not been out for quite a long time anyway. wytnyt
i guess im the adventurous type as i love buying newly released gadgets,i feel they have to work fairly well or they wouldnt be released.way i see things,1 out of 10 complaints may have actual validity to the products reliability. ganjiry
Its the same with most things enit. The republic of gamer's forums are just the same as the majority of peeps go for support but end up staying around. I always seem to buy components and then see that loads of people of had problems with them. I must be lucky as the only thing i've had arrive doa was a headset. Reloading
Well, had my new H100i installed for about a week now, during installation one of the sockets on the block for the fan splitter cable came apart and now it just sits in there loosely, common problem apparently. Yesterday my white LED died. Also have problems getting Link to manage RPM on 650d case fans. Sure everyone just says RMA it, don't feel like going without a computer for a week or more. How bout I take some pics, then corsair can send me a replacement then I'll send in the faulty unit.
