TAZ007_
Well i got my replacment AX860 on tuesday this week, its lasted longer than than the 2 hours the last one did, and still going strong, but like others state mine also makes a high pitch noise when i switch it off, so my question is regardless of the noise, should the PSU be switch off over night via the on off switch, or is it safe to leave on? alway left them on in the past
jlhawn
I leave the switch on my AX1200 in the on position going on 2 years now, the only time I switch it to off is when I am working inside the computer case. (cleaning dust, etc).
peanutz94
There is no problem leaving them on. No matter what it's not going to power on until you hit the power button on your case. I don't think i have ever turned mine to the off position. I just unplug them from the wall after the machine shuts down if i need to do anything inside the case. Administrators Technobeard Posted April 27, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 27, 2013 They're correct. You can leave the power switch enabled 24/7.
