jlvisuals
I am in the process of putting together a 3930K / Asus P9X79 Pro build for work, and was wondering which memory kit would be my best choice. I ran your ram configurator web application and it recommended the CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10 kit. I was browsing Newegg, and they also sell a CAS9 kit with the part number CMZ32GX3M4A1600C9 . Which would be my best choice? I am also planning on overclocking my 3930K. Are the denser 8GB modules going to be a limiting factor for my overclock? Much thanks, Jason
peanutz94
You really wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the CL9 kit and the CL10 kit. So it's basically your choice. And no the 8 gig modules shouldn't be a limiting factor for overclocking. But as with anything overclocking nothing is a given all you can do is try it
