jar0
i think there is no point of writing much more because ive seen that people already written all needed to be. Just wanted to write that im a mature person in age of 35 and i do always look after my equipment. Headset itself if not that plastic is a great piece of kit. But after a 1 month only cracked left side needed to use a tape to reinforce it and then after 4 and half cracked right side and everything felt apart so needed to tape it again it doesnt cover my ears propely and can use it only as speakers. Didnt use them a lot neighter couse im a busy person. so i feel disapointed couse i loved those headphones until this flaw. So please take this advice corsair and maybe test the quality of your products for a bit longer before putting on market . Been a big fan of your products over a years and been following all new range of products and hope you will take the lesson and come back better and stronger. We all learn on mistakes . Toasted
You can request an RMA to replace the headset.
jar0
yep already did . But the design of headset didnt change, after a month or two gonna crack again. Another case i live in uk and looked at forums and after research posting is about 70£-80£. Bit of weird that corsair dont have any office of rma in europe. Contacted a one of biggest retailers of pc components in uk as i got 15% of discount couse my company supplies in there, and been told that a most of those coming back with same crack symptom. So i will see how what reply i get from rma. Paying postage fees and getting same headset with same flaw seem pointless its like a mad loop of madness. Still europe got strict consumer law i might just contact consumer right agency and highlight that issue couse its purely design flaw , maybe that product should be pulled out of the market. oh well will see how it goes but feel a bit angry. cant post rma ticket number couse cant log in atm . Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 16, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 16, 2013 We do have a hub in EU (its in Almere). Also, its rare for anyone to get a second unit from RMA thats cracked and the number of people reporting cracks isn't as large as the forum implies. As I also mentioned many times in many threads, Corsair will cover all shipping expenses for second replacements so if it does crack again, we will take care of you. If I got a penny for everytime someone's mentioned contacting a consumer agency, I'd be able to buy everyone here any Corsair component 10x over. :):
