SakP
I have bought an Obsidian 550D case for my new pc. After the motherboard drivers installation I realized that the front panel headphone port doesn't work. The two USB 3.0 and the microphone ports are OK. I checked the headphone port of the motherboard and it works fine. I opened the case to examine the connector on the motherboard and it was in place. This is a very annoying situation since the existence of a front panel headphone port was one of the main reasons for the case selection. I am wondering where the problem is at: the connector, the cable, the front panel connections? I have mentioned the problem to corsair.force.com on 10 April 2013 but I have received no answer. What should I do?
Toasted
Have you tried plugging in a different audio device to the headphone port? e.g. earphones? Open Realtek audio manager and see if it detects the headphone. Post your case# here as well.
SakP
I have tried 4 different sets of earphones - headphones. All of them have the 3,5mm jack. A pop-up configuration window of the Realtek Audio manager should emerge but nothing happens.
Toasted
Request an RMA to replace the front I/O panel.
