taxidriver1138
I just installed my h100i a couple of days ago and it's been working fine. I had a stable 4.6 Ghz overclock with good temps. But now when I turn on my computer I get a "CPU over temperture error" and the h100i LED is pulsing red. Is this normal for the h100i or does this mean that it's not pumping or something? I can't get into windows to check the pump in Corsair Link cause the CPU is too hot. Anyone have any suggestions? Update: I took out the h100i and put in the stock Intel cooler and everything is working now.
Bryman
either its not touching the processor or pump is dead or fans arnt spinning..but im assuming that the fans are spinning? also keep voltage below 1.3 if you can
wytnyt
go into your bios and see how hot things are and check the pump speed there
taxidriver1138
I'm dumb and completely forgot about the 3 pin connector for pump speed. But before I took out the H100i the CPU temps were reading between 80 and 87 degrees in the BIOS. I just went and hooked it back up outside of the case just to check the pump speed and of course it decided that it wants to work again. No more flashing red LED on boot. It had to have been the pump. I know it was set on the cpu correctly because before I started having trouble my temps were fine.
VeJLEXDK
80 to 87 is extremely high. you may have bumped the case a little bit and somehow knocked a screw loose or just didn't seat it properly. It happens and I hope it is all working again now!
