Dominator 2133 Link not showing at all

Hello there guys,

Got the Airflow pro+the corsair platinum 2133 installed.

After some issues with BSOD, I was able to run the cpu at 4.4 and the memory at 2133, no problems so far.

My issues comes with the corsair Link, I have installed the black cables to the airflow pro and the other end to the RAM itself, then I noticed a white connector on the airflow pro, which I believe it's the connectors that goes to connected to the commander unit, I did connect the cable to the commander, boot into windows but Im unable to see any device related to the ram, the cooling and lightning mode does show up.

As per this manual, there is no indication of the corsair link, but as you can see, there is the little white connector.

http://www.corsair.com/media/cms/man...irflow_Pro.pdf

In which order you need to connect the black cables onto the airflow pro? From Left to right or viceversa? Atm it's connected from the far right to the left (there are six connectors in total, 1 behind another)

Since I have 4 sticks of RAM , I installed them like this:

Right: 1 and 2 (One behind another)

Middle: 1 and 2 (One behind another)

Left: Empty- There are no connectors on the far left at all, but the other 4 remaining are occupied.

Finally, Im using the latest FW for the commander and the Corsair Link software I believe it's the 2.3

Can someone Help me??

Thanks a lot!!

Here are 2 photos of how I connected the white port, which I believe it's that one that needs to go to the commander, however, not to sure if the cable it's connected in the right way.

Tried connecting the cables as it looks on the photo and also the other way around, still not showing up at the corsair Link dashboard.

Try an older version of the software and see if its detected.

Which version you reckon I should use?

Have you seen the photos I've uploaded? Is the corsair link cable connected properly or is the other way around?

Thanks!

Edit: I'm considering in getting rid of the corsair dashboard 2.3 and use just the 2.2 I think.

So far, I keep getting the 760i when I have the 860i... and I dont seem to get the Airflow pro working properly.

Which is the best way to uninstall the Corsair Link software and Install an older version?

Thanks guys

Try 2.2.0

http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=111405

The plug should only go in one way.

Uninstall the current version via Control Panel

Delete any remaining files from C:\Program Files(x86)\Corsair\CorsairLINK2 and the profiles folder, sierra2_ui.cfg, sierra2_ui and tempmap.dat in %Appdata%\Corsair

Install LINK 2.2.0 and restart if necessary.

Were you able to see the pictures I've uploaded?

In regards of the current version of corsair Dashboard, Will try the 2.2.0

So far, I have got this issues:

I cant see the ram or any indication of the airflow pro at all

It only shows as a 760i, when in fact I have got a 860i!!

Corsair, You need to get your @#! together!

The pictures you attach show that they are plugged in correctly.

So, you are saying that are plugged correctly right?

When I first install the airflow pro, I connect the corsair link as per the picture, but not to mention that I could not see anything related in the corsair dasboard.

What It could have been?

The white port should be the one that connects to the Commander unit. Have you tried a different port on the Commander Unit?

yes, the white port goes connected to the commander, will try another port.

Also, do you confirm that the cable is connected in the right position into thw white port??

once you try another port and if that still does not work, it may need to be rma'ed. Call corsair Tech support and let them know you issue. If you just recently bought the item ask for a prepaid label and refence your purchase invoice ID. same goes for the cammander, if the commander has a broken port RMA that, but if you have not just bought that then DO NOT request a prepaid label. thanks

Will do the following:

Check the cable that goes connected from the white port to the commander

Change commander port(I was using port#4)

uninstall the corsair dasboard 2.4 and install the 2.2

erase the corsair folder from windows and everything related to it

If still not showing the corsair link, should RMA it?
