Darkmana
Hello I just built my new system as detailed bellow. Right after 15 minutes of the first boot ups, I tried to turn the system on and it did not power on anymore. So, after some tries, I did this basic troubleshooting: 1. Tried to plug to another surge protector (110V). 2. Tried to plug without a surge protector (220V) with another power cord. 3. Tried to turn the PSU manually on, as described on the "Brief PSU Functionality Test". I did not power on. It's been some years since my last building, but I worked as a system builder for many years. Never had a PSU issue like this. Beyond been very disappointed with this, I am also worried with all the other components, wich I have not tested them yet. Is there any other test or detail the I may verify on the PSU? System specifications: - Corsair Graphite Series 600T - Corsair HX Series HX750 - Intel Core i7 3370 - ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 - Corsair Dominator Platinum 4GB 2133MHz (2x) - Corsair Hydro Series H100i - Corsair Neutron Series GTX 120GB - Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 3TB Thank you for your attention. Darkmana
I just tested the other components with my old PSU - Thermaltake Toughpower 650W. They all seem ok. I even tested the old PSU by turning it on manually, and it was fine. So, the problem seems to be only the HX750.

I tried it already. The HX750 did not power on, but it worked fine with my old PSU. I used a chassis fan on the test.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 17, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 17, 2013 Thanks for the update Darkmana. I would suggest that you get that unit replaced. You can try to contact your re seller and see if they swap it out, it's probably faster with them or you can always have it replaced via our RMA process. You can use the link on the left to start the process.
