klipp123
Hi, newbie here. I want to try a Corsair water cooler in my new computer. However I notice a lot of disgruntled owners on this forum. My questions are.. Are these coolers reliable? Are they tested before they're sold? I'm considering either H80i or H100i. There are a lot of threads here about people destroying their coolers by attempting to update the firmware, and the corsair link software causing problems... Can I use the H80i/H100i out of the box, foregoing the need to update the firmware, or use the link software? A lot of threads regarding unusual fan noise using the built in fan controller. Can the fans be connected directly to the PSU, thereby mitigating any potential "weird noise" issues? Thanks in advance.
wytnyt
its a support board, where problems are addressed i just ordered my 3rd cooler, look at my sig pics as 2 are working good. while some problems here are genuine, many are user related, imop your cooler will come with the latest firmware. VeJLEXDK
if you buy direct from corsair you are less likely to experience problems if any are there. I have had some RMA's here and there but corsairs support staff is one of the best. I would Recommend Corsair to anyone in the market of new computer parts.
