H100i LED issues

Hi I wanted to know is there any official update on the LED issues its been close to three weeks since its started and nothing really official from corsair what is a bit annoying. I've spoken to corsair support twice now first time I was told there should be a firmware or updated CL2 software in a few weeks to fix the issue the second person I spoke to didn't seem to know much or anything about the issue. So can someone from corsair make an official statement on what's going on and I'm not very impressed after spending over £100 on a cooler what partly works.

 

Now is the issue a bad hardware batch of coolers? or is it down to poor software?

Well, all I can tell yu is that my H100i used to have a nice Royal blue when the CPU was cool and now, since the CL2 update, it is a dull teal. So, I'd say it is a SW issue. It's working otherwise and, in the not broken, don't fix it mode, I haven't tried going back to the earlier version just to test the LED; in part because these are Win8 systems and v2.3.x was released to address compatibility with that OS.

it has been an ongoing problem since January :o: the same reason i returned mine 2 weeks after installing it.

 

at least part of the problem is hardware. LEDs are burnt out. Try switching the colors with sliders to determine which LED is dim or burnt out.
